Sundial Telecom developed and implemented a Quality Management System (also referred to as the QMS) in order to document the company’s best practices, better satisfy the requirements and expectations of its customers and improve the overall management of the company.
The QMS of Sundial Telecom meets the requirements of the international standard ISO9001:2008. The system addresses the design, development and implementation of the company’s products and services, together with the pre and after sales technical support requirements of its customers.
The manual describes the QMS at Sundial Telecom, delineates authorities, inter relationships and responsibility of the personnel responsible for performing within the system. The manual also provides procedures or references for all activities comprising the QMS to ensure compliance to the necessary requirements of the standard.
It has been implemented for use internally to guide the company’s employees through the various elements of the ISO standard to enable them to offer our customers a quality managed service at all times, and to aid continuous improvement by meeting the objectives of it.
It is used externally to introduce our QMS to our customers and other external organisations and individuals. The manual is used to familiarise them with the controls that have been implemented and to assure them that the integrity of the QMS is maintained and focussed on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement. Upon request our customers, suppliers, partners and sub contractors will be supplied with a copy.
In summary the manual describes the Sundial Telecom QMS to readers to help them understand how it relates to the operation of the entire business and to help new and existing staff find and use the sections relevant to their jobs within the company.
