As soon as you have created your Sundial Telecom account, you can now start to send faxes by email by following these 4 easy steps:

• Create a new email from your email package - Outlook, Google mail, Hotmail etc.
• In the subject line of the email put the fax number of the person you’d like the fax sent to.
• Attach the document you’d like to be faxed to the email.
• Send the email to fax@sundialtele.com

When we receive your email we check that your email address is a permitted fax sender. The attachment is then processed, added to the fax queue and inserted into the fax log on your account. You can track the progress of the fax in your control panel via the ‘manage your faxes (sending faxes)’ tab.

Confirmation Emails

We’ll send you emails notifying you of the following events –

1. We’ve received your email, your document has been processed and added to the fax queue.
2. The fax has successfully been sent.
3. There was a problem with sending your fax. This will detail the next steps you should take.

If you’re sending a lot of faxes, you can choose which emails you’d like to receive. You could choose to switch off email notification altogether and manage your fax activity in your control panel.

Fax Number Formatting

All your faxes are processed and sent by us in the UK, therefore if you’re sending faxes to the UK you don’t need to worry about any special formatting. For example if you wanted to send a fax to Sundial Telecom you would just use our UK fax number of 01223 238333.
If you’re sending faxes to international destinations then you should use the full international dialling code. For example if you wanted to send a fax to the USA, you would use the following format  - 001202 456 2461, where ‘00’ is the international dialling code and ‘1’ is the USA country code

Similarly if you were trying to send a fax to France you’d use the following format - 0033 1 49 27 11 71, where ‘00’ is the international dialling code and ‘33’ is the France country code.
