The majority of our services are designed to be used with a telephone or fax number. The type of number used can be chosen by you based on what you intend to use it for. The numbers we provide can be thought of as virtual numbers, which means you do not have to worry about having extra phone lines installed to accommodate them. They are ‘hosted’ on our telephony platform and what happens with a call to your number is based on the rules that you set.
The menu on the left details what number types are available from sundial telecom and what their typical uses are.
For example, at one end of the scale, you may be looking to encourage potential customers to call you before they call your competitors by making their call to you free of charge. In this case you would choose an 0800 number.
At the other end of the scale, you may want to offer your customers technical advice which they are willing to pay for. In this case you would choose a premium rate number which costs the caller up to £1.50 per minute and pays a revenue share to you. This is a good way of monetising an otherwise expensive support team.
